What do you want?
Are you really
hoping for something to come through for you right now?
Are you wishing and
praying for some dream to come true?
Stop.
Learn to care less about the end-result and
start to care more about the journey to get there.
And then ask yourself… “What am I actually
doing to achieve my goals?”
Emotionally
detaching from the outcome of your endeavors ironically enhances the
likelihood that they will be realized. Not obsessing about an end-result is not the same as not wanting it to come to pass; or not
working toward it. Quite the contrary.
When free from the worry and wonder if you’re
doing the right things at the right times, the right answers and
necessary actions begin to come naturally, almost effortless.
The difference is your reaction to either
scenario, good or not-so-good, when the time comes. The appropriate
reaction, regardless of the actual outcome, is the key element and
what actually fosters future success.
So how do you
handle disappointment, set-backs, and frustrations? Do you blame
others? Do you quit? What is the appropriate reaction to success
and/or failure? It’s simply this… “It ‘aint over.” Either way, win or
lose, it ‘aint over. There’s going to be another day and another
opportunity or challenge just on the horizon; it’s on the way right
now. Are you ready?
